We are looking for a Product Manager - AI (Onsite, Bengaluru) to own and scale the AI capabilities at the core of our underwriting platform for commercial insurers in the U.S. market. You will define the roadmap for AI assistants, enterprise document AI tools, and agentic workflows that directly impact how underwriters work. This is a hands on product role at the intersection of AI, data, and operations. You will work closely with ML, engineering, and customer teams to turn cutting edge models into governed, reliable, and explainable products that deliver real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Define and deliver the product roadmap and strategy for AI capabilities, including assistants, document AI tools, and agentic workflows.
Evaluate AI and LLM solutions using automated metrics and hands on analysis to ensure relevance, accuracy, and reliability for enterprise use.
Write clear product requirements for AI workflows, support sprint planning, and validate releases against customer and business outcomes.
Take end to end ownership of new tools and features from problem definition and design through development, launch, and iteration.
Partner with client facing teams to gather feedback, understand customer pain points, and ensure AI features solve real underwriting and document challenges.
Conduct competitor and market research to track AI trends and best practices in document AI and workflow automation.
Contribute to ensuring AI products align with ethical guidelines and regulatory expectations relevant to the insurance industry.
Support internal and external documentation for AI features, including model behavior, limitations, and explainability.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in product management, data analysis, or roles working closely with AI focused teams.
Foundational knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts, data pipelines, or methods such as NLP or CNNs.
Proven experience building and scaling enterprise grade AI solutions.
Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation, document AI, or AI guided workflow design is a strong plus.
Strong interest in AI and ML technologies and curiosity about the insurance domain.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Additional AI or ML qualifications are a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non technical stakeholders.
