Director of Sales (Bengaluru)

We are looking for a Director of Sales (Bengaluru, with travel to the U.S.) to lead our new business motion with commercial P&C carriers and MGAs. You will own the revenue number for net new ARR and build a high performing AE team that brings the CURE platform into strategic U.S. accounts. This is a senior, hands on leadership role for someone who is equally comfortable in late stage deal conversations, team coaching sessions, and revenue reviews with the CEO. You will design the sales playbook, scale the team, and help shape Pibit.ai's go to market engine for the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of high performing Account Executives selling to carriers and MGAs across the U.S. commercial insurance market.
  • Own the new business revenue target and drive quarterly and annual ARR bookings.
  • Run weekly pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and performance reviews to ensure deals progress from early stage to closed won.
  • Step into key opportunities to support late stage negotiations, executive relationships, and other high value deals.
  • Design and refine the sales playbook, including outbound strategy, qualification frameworks, demo structure, and approval processes.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align messaging, handoffs, and expansion strategies.
  • Recruit, hire, and ramp new Account Executives, setting clear expectations, coaching plans, and performance standards.
  • Present sales performance, conversion metrics, and market feedback directly to the CEO and leadership team.
  • Represent Pibit.ai at key industry events and conferences such as ITC Vegas, WSIA, and InsurTech NY.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least 3 years leading and managing Account Executives.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multi million ARR targets in mid market or enterprise SaaS.
  • Experience selling into U.S. or global markets with complex buying centers.
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and hold a sales team accountable.
  • Deep understanding of complex sales cycles, multi stakeholder deals, and executive level selling.
  • Comfortable operating with data driven management and high proficiency in CRMs such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident running forecast meetings and presenting to carrier executives.
  • High bias for action and comfort working in fast moving, evolving environments where playbooks are still being built.
  • Based in Bengaluru with willingness to travel to the U.S. for key customer meetings and industry events.
