Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff to the CEO is a high-leverage, high-visibility role that acts as the CEO's extended arm across cross-functional priorities (AI, Technology, Product, Sales, Operations, Marketing). You'll be a hands-on problem solver, strategic operator, and cross-team orchestrator who translates CEO priorities into clear plans, drives execution discipline, and ensures organizational clarity and momentum. This is the first Chief of Staff role at Pibit.ai — an opportunity to build the Founder's Office function from the ground up and have outsized impact on company strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the CEO's problem-solving partner on complex, cross-team challenges.
  • Translate CEO priorities into clear tasks, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Prepare decision-ready analysis, insights, briefs, and recommendations for leadership.
  • Represent the CEO in select internal and external discussions as required.
  • Run leadership syncs, founder reviews, and company-wide OKR check-ins.
  • Build and maintain systems for execution tracking, accountability, and risk/blocker visibility.
  • Design and implement processes and cadences that keep teams aligned, fast, and focused.
  • Own high-stakes cross-functional problems end-to-end with a hands-on approach.
  • Work with functional heads to clarify priorities, accelerate outcomes, and remove blockers.
  • Drive alignment across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and design scalable solutions to improve throughput.
  • Strengthen information flow and decision continuity while the CEO operates partially from the U.S.
  • Drive an asynchronous execution culture with clarity, speed, and measurable follow-through.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of professional experience in high-growth B2B startups, Tier-1 management consulting, strategic operations, or as a founder/operator.
  • Proven track record operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, 0→1 or scaling environments.
  • Direct experience working closely with founders or C-suite executives in a strategic capacity (Chief of Staff, Strategic Ops, Founder's Office, or similar).
  • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of B2B SaaS operating and go-to-market models.
  • Cross-functional fluency — comfortable contributing across Sales, Product, Engineering, Ops, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills: break down multi-dimensional problems and drive them to resolution independently.
  • Execution excellence: history of owning initiatives end-to-end, driving accountability, and delivering results on time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to synthesize complex information into concise, decision-ready materials.
  • Prior experience working with founders or in a founder-adjacent role is strongly preferred.
  • Insurance / InsurTech domain experience (commercial insurance, underwriting, carriers, MGAs) is a strong advantage.
