We are looking for an Associate Product Manager - AI (Onsite, Bengaluru) to help shape, ship, and scale the AI capabilities at the heart of our underwriting platform for commercial insurers in the U.S. market. You will work closely with machine learning, engineering, design, and customer facing teams to turn AI concepts into usable, governed, and scalable product features. This is a hands on, highly analytical product role at the intersection of AI, data, and insurance operations. You will own feature definition, coordination, and delivery for AI powered workflows, with a focus on real customer problems and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Define and deliver product features across governance, workflow management, AI powered capabilities, and API integrations.
Take end to end ownership of new tools or product features from problem definition and scoping through design, development, launch, and iteration.
Partner with engineering and machine learning teams to experiment with, evaluate, and refine AI and ML models for production use.
Work with client facing teams to gather feedback, understand customer pain points, and ensure platform features solve real underwriting and document challenges.
Conduct competitor and market research to identify trends, benchmarks, and best practices for document AI and AI guided workflows.
Contribute to ensuring AI products align with ethical guidelines and regulatory expectations relevant to insurance.
Support internal and external documentation for AI features, including model behavior, explainability, and user guidance.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in product management, data analysis, or roles working closely with AI focused teams.
Foundational knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts, data pipelines, or techniques such as NLP or CNNs.
Prior experience contributing to the build and scale of enterprise grade AI solutions.
Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation, document AI, or AI guided workflow design is a strong plus.
Genuine interest in AI and ML technologies and curiosity about the insurance and underwriting space.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Additional AI or ML qualifications are a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non technical stakeholders.
