Account Executive

We're looking for an Account Executive to own the full sales cycle and drive new business from commercial P&C carriers and MGAs in the U.S. market. You will focus on winning net new customers and turning interest into long term revenue relationships. This is a quota-carrying, high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments. You will hunt and close new logos, navigate complex buying groups, and be a key driver of Pibit's ARR growth in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end to end sales cycle from prospecting and first meeting through negotiation and close for target insurance accounts.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline through outbound outreach, conference follow ups, partner referrals, and inbound leads.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand underwriting, operations, and IT workflows and position Pibit as a business outcome solution.
  • Deliver tailored product demos that clearly show value for underwriters, operations leaders, and executives.
  • Coordinate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to design impactful pilots and proof of concepts.
  • Engage and align multiple stakeholders across underwriting, claims, IT, data, and finance to drive consensus and approval.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity data, forecasting, and activity tracking in HubSpot and supporting sales tools.
  • Consistently work toward and achieve an annual new business target of $300K in ARR.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross sell opportunities within won accounts in partnership with the post sales team.
  • Travel to the U.S. for customer meetings, conferences, and on site sessions as required.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of B2B SaaS sales experience in a closing or Account Executive role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and pipeline targets.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, including objection handling, value based storytelling, and complex deal negotiation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple business terms.
  • High ownership mindset with the discipline to prospect, follow up, and advance deals without close supervision.
  • Hands on experience with HubSpot CRM and modern sales tools such as Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with commercial insurance, carriers, MGAs, or underwriting and claims workflows is strongly preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to the U.S. for approximately 30 days per year for customer and market facing activities.
